Anna and Ben's Rehearsal Dinner

My sister Anna is getting married tomorrow!!!  I am so excited for her and her fiance, Ben.  We are in Quincy, IL, my hometown this weekend and tonight was the rehearsal dinner.  Ben and Anna decided to have their get together at Upper Morman Park and it was a very relaxed and fun evening.  Here is a photo of my husband, Steve, and Anna from this evening.  He is very happy for my little sis.

Becca Graduated!!!! :D :D :D

Becca graduated today from SVdP!!!  She is officially out of grade school/junior high and entering high school.  We're so proud of her.  Time really does fly when you have children.  It seems the older they get the faster they time goes.

My mom and dad came from IL.  It was super great to have them here and I know it meant a lot to Becca and to Steve and me.  Here is an image of Becca with her Papa right after the ceremony.

Mom Left for IL Today.

I hate to see her go.  I snapped this as she was running out the door.  I miss her already.

We made it home!

It's always great to get back home to IL to visit my family!  We were unable to come home during the holidays because of the crazy winter weather.  It was a funfilled evening with fashion shows put on by the little ones, catching up visiting and yummy red wine.  Here is a photograph of my sister, Kendra, feeling a tad overwhelmed by all the commotion. I love it! ;)

"I'm going to miss my flight".....

That's what my mom told me this morning at 4:30 a.m.  She was in TX  leaving to fly back home to IL and could not figure out where to return the car rental. It wasn't just her, either.  4 of them couldn't figure it out and so they called here and wanted to talk to my husband who is employed by the industry's leading car rental company. At 4:30 a.m. .... *grins*  Luckily, he was able to help them figure out what to do, albeit a tad confusing.  They made their flight.  Steve went back to sleep.  I ...well, I was awake.  Once daylight came I knew what I had to photograph for today's entry.  Thanks, Mom, for the inspiration. <3 I am so glad you made it home safe! xoxo
