So, I'm starting over. My 365 for 2010 might be considered a dud to some but to me it was a start. Today I am making another go at it....a FRESH start for 2011! Hopefully I will avoid the pitfalls and learn from last year. We'll see. All I can do is try; so I'm going to do just that and hope for a full 365 photo journal this year. *crossing fingers*
I thought I would start the year off with a self-portrait. My 2011 New Year Resolution list is fairly short. I've condensed it. After thinking about the changes I want to make both personally and professionally I realized that I can pretty much sum up the list in 5 words: Believe and follow my dreams.
Happy New Year to you! May your year be filled with all sorts of laughter and may you be showered with blessings. Most of all, may you remember to follow your dreams.

Starbucks *yUm*
This morning I met with a friend for coffee. It was a nice way to start the day and fun to catch up. I was a bit early so I whipped out the p&s and snapped a quick photo of my treat. When visiting Starbucks I know what I want right away. A nice hot non-fat quad shot grande latte. Mmmmmm! Although I cannot remember what the back of the cup said, something about the enviroment and going green and how 'every time YOU buy a Starbucks you're doing it, too' or ' everytime we do something YOU do it, too' ...something or other. I think I would have liked it to have read something like "This was made just for YOU". Does that make me self absorbed? Probably. That's okay though, because I bought it just for ME. ;) *sidenote* I'm happy Starbucks cares about our earth, I just want to enjoy my coffee- mindlessly- while visiting a friend. Also? I'm not so sure Starbucks and I are doing the same thing simultaneously. Just saying.

Mmmmmm. Coffee!
I really enjoy a good cup of coffee. Lately, I have been enjoying *several* good cups of coffee. Okay, maybe a pot a day. Is that a lot? There are several things I like about coffee. I enjoy the smell of it brewing, I like the pick me up it provides, I enjoy how it tastes and how it compliments something sweet. I like my coffee strong and I am not particular about what time I drink coffee- although a morning cup is a must. Yum.
